Bills Sign OL Dickinson; Release WR Jones

The Bills today beefed up the O-line by signing undrafted free agent rookie Dustin Dickinson.  The team released WR Jason Jones to make room for Dickinson.  Dickinson spent two months with Seattle before being released in late June. He played college at Houston, where he appeared in 49 games, including 39 starts.

Bills Add Former Hawaii WR C.J. Hawthorne to the Roster

The Bills today signed receiver C.J. Hawthorne, an undrafted rookie free agent out of Hawaii.  Hawthorne had 61 catches for 859 yards and six touchdowns in 13 starts with the Rainbows last season, his first at receiver after being converted from cornerback. Bills Agree to Terms w/ 7th Round Pick Bell

The Bills today signed 7th round draft pick Demetrius Bell. Selected 219th overall out of Louisiana’s Northwestern State in the draft in April, Bell started 22 consecutive games over his final two college seasons. Bills Sign Guard Brad Butler to an Extension

The Bills announced today that offensive lineman Brad Butler has agreed to terms on an extension.  Terms weren’t disclosed by the team.  Butler was a fifth-round pick in the 2006 draft.  He was due to earn salaries of $445,000 and $530,000 in 2008 and 2009, respectively.  Butler is entering his third season with the Bills [...]
