Bills Hire 22-Year Coaching Vet Rick Dennison as Offensive Coordinator

The Bills announced Thursday they have agreed to terms with 22-year NFL coaching veteran Rick Dennison to fill what is easily the most important spot on the staff of new head coach Sean McDermott, Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News reports.

Dennison spent the past two seasons as offensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos. He was part of Gary Kubiak’s 2015 staff that helped the Broncos win Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers.

Dennison began his coaching career in 1995 with the Broncos. He filled a number of roles with them through 2009, including a stint as offensive coordinator from 2006 to 2008. Dennison returned to Denver in 2015.

Dennison has also coached with the Houston Texans (2010-2013) and Baltimore Ravens (2014).
