Previewing The 2014 Buffalo Bills Schedule Release

The Buffalo Bills will enter year two of the E.J. Manuel experiment in 2014, and just how much progress their young quarterback can make might be the difference between making the playoffs or not. The Bills have otherwise put together a stout defense and a rushing attack that should be productive, having them inch closer to a long awaited return to post-season play.

The trip back to the playoffs could be hard, though, as the Buffalo Bills schedule for 2014 is anything but easy. It’s specifically tough on the road, where they have to take on a likely rebounding Houston Texans team, the explosive Denver Broncos, as well as dates with the Raiders, Bears and Lions. With Oakland being their only non-division game that is a win on paper, Buffalo could be truly tested on the road.

At home, the Bills shouldn’t have too tough of a time with the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings, but may have their work cut out for them when the Chiefs, Chargers and Packers come to town. With a pretty tough schedule on the docket for 2014, Buffalo will surely need running back C.J. Spiller to rebound from a so-so 2013 campaign.
