The NFL confirmed that two teams, Buffalo and Washington, each have been fined $20,000 for violating NFL’s procedures for reporting injuries, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The Bills did not report defensive end Mario Williams’ sprained wrist. Williams commented prior to Week 5 games about how the wrist had been bothering him and limiting his effectiveness.
The Redskins failed to disclose quarterback Robert Griffin’s status during their October 7 game against the Falcons by indicating he was shaken up instead of reporting he had a concussion.
