2012 NFL Week Two Preview – Kansas City at Buffalo

Two teams that were pretty bad in week one will do battle in an AFC game in week two as the Chiefs travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills in their home opener.

The Bills were beat up by the Jets in the Meadowlands, losing 48-28 as their offense was turnover prone, while the defense did little to stop Mark Sanchez and the gets offense.

“We definitely didn’t do what we needed to do to win,” Bills Mario Williams said. “The biggest thing was that we didn’t get sacks. Starting with myself, we definitely have to put the quarterback on his back with any means necessary.”

The club was beat up in the loss to boot, as they lost starting running back Fred Jackson with a sprained knee ligament after only six carries for 15 yards. Wide receiver David Nelson then tore a right knee ligament in the fourth quarter.

C.J. Spiller proved up to the task of replacing Jackson, running for a 56-yard touchdown for Buffalo’s first score and finishing with a career-high 169 yards.
