Quarterback Tyler Thigpen led three scoring drives in the Bills preseason finale in Detroit Thursday to help his cause in making the team as a backup.
But it also didn’t hurt that Thipgen took a pay cut to stay with the team. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, he took a $1 million cut in pay, which kept his seat warm on the Bills roster – at least for now.
