Bills Release Former Titans, Eagles QB Vince Young

An awful outing vs the Steelers Saturday has made a decision for the Bills easier, as Monday the team released former Titans and Eagles QB Vince Young.

It’s another setback for the former Texas QB who was the apple of Jeff Fisher’s eye back when the Titans took him in the first round with the third overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.

Young joined Buffalo this offseason to compete for the number two QB job behind starter Ryan Fitzpatrick. He lost out in the competition to former Chiefs QB Tyler Thigpen.

The Steelers, a team that has always been tough on Young, beat him up Saturday, as he went just 10 for 26 performance with two interceptions in a 38-7 loss.
