NT Torell Troup Lands on IR

The Bills announced that nose tackle Torell Troup has been placed on injured reserve

A 2010 second-round pick out of Central Florida, Troup started two of 15 games as a rookie, totaling 23 tackles. Slowed earlier this season by a back injury, Troup appeared in just six games and recording eight tackles. Troup’s back injury flared up on Sunday, keeping him out of the team’s 28-24 loss to the New York Jets.

Replacing Troup on the active roster is practice squad defensive lineman Lionel Dotson, who has seven tackles in five career games with the Miami Dolphins from 2008-10.

The Bills have added rookie linebacker Robert Eddins to the practice squad to replace Dotson.
