UPDATE: Bills Come to Terms with CB Aaron Williams

After signing a trio of rookies earlier today, the Bills now have a quartet of draft picks signed today.

Texas CB Aaron Williams beame the fourth Bills rookie to sign today.  Williams announced his contract signing on his Twitter page a little over an hour ago.

Williams becomes the fourth Bills draft pick to sign today, joining Marcell Dareus, Da’Norris Searcy and Johnny White.  Williams will join the Bills for practice tomorrow afternoon.

With Williams signing, that leaves LB Kelvin Sheppard as the last remaining draft pick without a contract.

Kudos to Bills GM Buddy Nix thus far.  He, along with everyone executive in football, has been under the gun this past week to get free agents and rookies signed before the start of training camp today.  There’s been a firewagon change of activity that’s taken place since the announcement that the lockout was over, and Nix has added a backup quarterback (Tyler Thigpen) that was needed, lured Brad Smith away from the New York Jets, and has gotten eight of his nine draft choices signed under contract.  Not to be overlooked is the fact that Nix was able to avoid a third-straight year in which the team’s first-round choice didn’t report to training camp on time via a holdout by getting Marcell Dareus signed and in camp.
