Five Bills Rookies Remained Unsigned

The Bills spent much of Thursday focusing on taking care of things in-house.  The theme of Thursday was getting rookies signed, making sure they’ll be on the field for the Bills’ first official training camp practice on Saturday afternoon.

Buffalo signed four rookies to deals:  DT Michael Jasper (Bethel), OT Chris Hairston (Clemson), ILB Chris White (Mississippi) and CB Justin Rogers (Richmond).  That’s the good news.

The not-so-good news is the Bills still have five draft picks unsigned heading into Friday, including their top four draft choices.  The biggest name on the list( both figuratively and literally) is Alabama DT Marcell Dareus.

Here’s a list of Buffalo’s remaining unsigned draft selections:

  • Marcell Dareus, DT Alabama – 1st Rnd., 3rd overall
  • Aaron Williams, CB Texas – 2nd Rnd., 34th overall
  • Kelvin Sheppard, ILB LSU – 3rd Rnd., 68th overall
  • Da’Norris Searcy, S North Carolina – 4th Rnd., 100th overall
  • Johnny White, RB North Carolina – 5th Rnd., 133rd overall
