Third-Round Pick Kelvin Sheppard Hires Todd France as Agent

Bills third-round linebacker Kelvin Sheppard has changed representation, hiring Atlanta-based Todd France, Liz Mullen of SportsBusiness Journal reports.

Chosen with the 68th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft out of LSU, Sheppard was originally represented by SportsTrust Advisors, an agency formed by the merger of James Sexton’s Athletic Resource Management and Pat Dye, Jr’s ProFiles Sports.

A starter in 30 of his 53 career games at LSU, Sheppard (6-2, 250) finished his career with 311 tackles, including 26 for a loss and 4.5 quarterback sacks. Sheppard was voted a team captain and earned first-team All-SEC honors as a senior.

With 2007 second-round pick Paul Posluszny potentially departing via free agency when a new labor deal is reached, and veterans Andra Davis and Reggie Torbor unsigned beyond this season, Sheppard figures to crack the Bills’ starting lineup pretty quickly.
