WR David Nelson Adds Muscle And Hopes To Be An Every-Down Receiver

The Buffalo News reports that second-year WR David Nelson has put on some muscle this offseason in hopes of maintaining some durability, and has been working out with some NFL veterans in hopes of playing more for Buffalo.

“I’m just trying to get bigger, be faster and be more of an every-down receiver,” Nelson said. “Last year I took a couple hits and kind of took a couple plays off after the hits. … [T]his year I’m trying to be where I can take hits from guys like Ray Lewis and Ed Reed and get up and get to the next play and last 16 games, as opposed to three or four strong games and having a few [down] weeks.”
