Bills bring back rookie QB Levi Brown

The Bills have made some changes at the QB spot, and one of them is bringing in QB Levi Brown, who takes Trent Edwards’ spot on the roster.

After cutting former starter Trent Edwards, the Buffalo Bills have filled his roster spot by re-signing seventh-round rookie quarterback Levi Brown. Brown was cut from the team during the Bills’ final major roster cutdown. He tried out for the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers, but wasn’t signed. Brown was signed to a four-year deal worth roughly $1.86 million with a signing bonus of about $69,000 earlier this summer. Brown was the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year at Troy University.
