One day before the Buffalo Bills were to start training camp, the team signed one of its drafted players as ESPN.com reports that Torell Troup, their second-round pick from Central Florida, has signed a contract with the team.
Buffalo’s general manager Buddy Nix is expecting Troup to report in time for the team’s first session on Thursday afternoon. Terms of the deal aren’t available as of this posting, but it is epected to be in the neighborhood of four years and around $4.5 million – $2. 6million of that amount guaranteed.
With his arrival, he is expected to vie for the backup defensive tackle position behind Kyle Williams.
