Bills ink RB Chad Simpson, release DT Marlon Favorite

The Bills have inked free agent RB Chad Simpson, waiving first-year DT Marlon Favorite:

The Buffalo Bills announced that they have signed free agent running back Chad Simpson and to make room on the 80-man off-season roster, the Bills waived first-year defensive tackle Marlon Favorite, who signed with the Bills on March 2. Simpson entered the NFL as undrafted free agent out of Morgan State in 2008, appearing in 25 games over the last two seasons for the Indianapolis Colts. Simpson carried the ball 30 times for 147 yards (4.9 avg) and 3 touchdowns, while catching six passes for 31 yards out of the backfield. Simpson also averaged 23.4 yards on 53 kick returns for the Colts, including a 23.6 yard average in 2009.
