With 14th Pick, Seattle Seahawks Select Texas FS Earl Thomas

The Seattle Seahawks make their second pick in the first round, pulling the trigger on Texas S Earl Thomas.  Thomas was considered the best available safety prospect after Eric Berry and has the speed and versatility to play cornerback as well as safety.

This is the second player the Seahawks drafted from the Big 12 Conference.  With their first selection, Seattle took Oklahoma State OT Russell Okung with the No.6 pick.

Thomas (No.12) becomes the newest member of the Seattle Seahawks
