No drop dead date set for a decision for Aaron Schobel

The Bills official site says that the team has no real deadline for DE Aaron Schobel on what he’s going to do for the 2010 season:

Bills head coach Chan Gailey was asked if there was a drop dead date for defensive end Aaron Schobel to make a call on his future plans and decide whether or not he’s playing in 2010. As Gailey has maintained all along, there are no deadlines on that subject. “I don’t think so,” said Gailey. “I think you would like to know, but I don’t think now is any time to put a deadline on it, or do we need to do that in the future. He realizes what has to be done to play and play in a new system. He’s enough of a pro and a vet to understand that. I think he’ll get to the point where he realizes that he needs to get in here and a get a little bit of this and if he doesn’t, he doesn’t. He’s smart enough to understand all of that I believe.”
