Suspension for RB Lynch Upheld

Pro Football Weekly is reporting that the Marshawn Lynch suspension has been upheld:

The NFL has upheld the three-game suspension it gave to Bills RB Marshawn Lynch for violating the personal conduct policy, according to NBC Sports’ Tom Curran.

Lynch was handed the three-game ban in April for being arrested on misdemeanor gun charges but appealed in hopes of getting it reduced. However, commissioner Roger Goodell ruled Monday that the suspension will stand, meaning Lynch won’t be eligible to play until Week Four at Miami.

In Lynch’s absence, Buffalo will rely heavily upon RB Fred Jackson to shoulder the bulk of the carries. Offseason pickup Dominic Rhodes also will share in the rushing duties while Lynch is out. The Bills begin the season with games against the Patriots, Buccaneers and Saints.
