Just in case you didn’t have anything else to do tonight and wanted something interesting to watch on TV, the new Terrell Owens reality show kicks off at 10pm Eastern tonight on VH-1. Here’s part of the Sporting News story on the show posted earlier today:
Finally, somebody has figured out T.O.
Two people, actually. Now they want the rest of us to discover the real Terrell Owens.
After working with the wide receiver for most of the past decade, Monique Jackson and Kita Williams—a pair of trendily-dressed Los Angeles-based publicists—know him well … well enough not only to have a name for his oft-publicized outbursts (“T.O.T.s”—short for “T.O. tantrums”) but also to admonish him when he has one.
“I have the maternal instinct,” Jackson said. “When he has a T.O.T., I can reprimand him.”
A handful of NFL coaches and quarterbacks could have used Jackson over the years, but a cable network got her and Williams (who Jackson said is “more like a big sister”) instead.
The stylish duo co-stars in The T.O. Show, which debuts on VH1 tonight at 10 ET. Jackson and Williams are closer to Owens than publicists are with clients. They advise Owens, 35, in personal matters (love, fatherhood, post-football plans), convinced him to move to Los Angeles this offseason after getting dumped by the Dallas Cowboys and will have a room to stay in his Buffalo-area home when they visit him this season.
