
While the Bills seem ready to accept the three-game suspension that the NFL has handed to RB Marshawn Lynch, it does not appear that Marshawn is. The Buffalo News reports that Lynch, who is set to miss the first three games of 2009, will appeal the suspension.
The Buffalo Bills appear ready to accept Marshawn Lynch’s three-game suspension for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. Whether Lynch is ready to do the same remains to be seen as the third-year running back is expected to appeal the suspension, which was officially announced by the NFL on Thursday. Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Lynch without pay for the first three games of the regular season after his latest run-in with the law that resulted in a guilty plea to a misdemeanor gun charge.
