Bills coach Dick Jauron reportedly signed a contract extension on Sunday, but that doesn’t mean he can say for sure that he’ll be Buffalo’s coach in 2009. Jauron wouldn’t address ESPN’s report that he had just signed his contract, but when asked today if he has been given any assurances that he’ll be back as the Bills’ head coach in 2009, he demurred. “Well we haven’t really talked about it,” Jauron said when asked what assurances he had that he would be back. “So, in that regard I supposed none. In that regard, I suppose no indications that I won’t be.” Still, Jauron said he anticipates he’ll return as coach.
