Crowd Does its Part on the Day When the Lights Were Out

With a power outage that made it more like old time football at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo on Sunday, it was good to see the fans be as big of an impact as they were during the teams 23-14 win.  All day long, no matter the circumstances, the crowd was loud, and did its part to help the team to the win and to a 5-1 record.

The fans have been waiting quite awhile for this team to be good, and for now, they are riding a solid defense, a young but getting better offense, and a special team that has made plays all season.  It was good to see Trent Edwards return from that concussion two weeks ago and lead the way going 25-for-30 for 261 yards with a score.

Numerous players spoke in the locker room about the crowd and the impact they had against the Chargers offense.  They were able to keep them on their toes all day, and while they had their moments, the Chargers offense was no match for a Bills D that came out pumped up for the home crowd.  And on a day when the game took a different twist with a major power outage, the crowd gave it right back and did their part to help the team to the win.
