Week 4 Power Rankings: NFC East Reigns Supreme

Top 10:

1. Dallas Cowboys

Class of the League. Who can stop them?

2. Philadelphia Eagles

Played Dallas tough, and beat a tough Pittsburgh team. McNabb is back
and playing as good as any QB in the NFL. With Jim Johnson’s defense,
I like this team.

3. Tennessee Titans

If defense wins championships, the Titans are looking pretty good.
Johnson and White are a dynamic pairing. The only downside of this
team is what will happen when and if Vince Young comes back? Will it
be a distraction?

4. New York Giants

I have them here for now, but I suspect they are still riding a wave
of momentum from last year. Who knows though, maybe they will keep it

5. Denver Broncos

3-0 with wins against the Chargers and Saints isn’t that bad. Can
their D stop anybody other than the Raiders though?

6. Carolina Panthers

I’m writing off last week’s loss on the road to a desperate, and
talented, Minnesota team. WIth their running game, Steve Smith and
their solid defense, they are a team to watch moving forward.

7. Buffalo Bills

Solid defensive play so far, coupled with the solid play of Trent
Edwards has the Bills at 3-0 for the first time since 1992. However,
the consensus seems to be that this is the worst 3-0 team in the
league. Only time will tell with this young squad.

8. Washington Redskins

It’s been a tale of two Jason Campbells. The one against the Giants
who couldn’t do anything right, and the one from the last two weeks
who has been impressive. Like with the Bills above, only time will
tell with this squad. Both teams have high upside, but still have to
prove themselves to get in the top 5.

9. Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers and the Pack look to move forward after they were
outplayed by Dallas. Put them in the mix with Buffalo and Washington
as a team that we will have more info on in a few weeks. Early
returns are good. (P.S. they could drop if Al Harris is really out
for the year)

10. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers have a complete, and experienced team. Can Big Ben stay
healthy and will the offensive line get their act together though?

Best of the Rest (5 Honorable Mentions in no particular order)

Indianapolis Colts
New England Patriots
Arizona Cardinals
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
San Diego Chargers

Worst Team in the NFL:
Kansas City Chiefs

The Titans are not in the NFC dude.

I think I know that the Titans aren’t in the NFC “bro”, but the point is that every team in the NFC East made the top 10, hence they “reign” supreme as the class of the league.

Look for my rankings to change a bit this week due to the many upsets from last week.
