OFFENSE: The offense did exactly what it needed to. Edwards showed some good finesse on his deep balls, and got into a good rhythm after getting off to a shaky start. The running game was good, as Marshawn Lynch broke off several nice runs. The pass protection was awesome; Edwards had time to look through his reads and dump it off. You get the sense that the offense is still working some kinks out though, we’ll see how it reacts to adversity.
Grade: B+

DEFENSE: The Defense made Matt Hasselback look like a rookie today. The Seahawks running game was kept in check (although the yards per carry are reason for concern moving forward) and the pass rush was brilliant. The Seahawks depleted receiver core was totally outmatched and couldn’t get any separation on Buffalo’s corners.
Grade: A

SPECIAL TEAMS: Two special teams touchdowns. Enough said.
Grade A+

COACHING: Dick Jauron and his coaching staff pulled all the right strings today. On offense, they were not afraid to let Edwards take his shots. I especially like the way that Lee Evans was utilized to stretch out the defense vertically. Moving forward it’s crucial that teams continue to have to honor the deep ball, giving Edwards room over the middle to pick opposing defenses apart, and Marshawn less eight man fronts. On Defense, the Bills effectively brought pressure, and also dropped back a lot, not allowing Hasselback to ever get a sense of what to expect. You have to love the fake field goal call, and you have to love the deep pass over the middle to Royal following a forced turnover. Great job by coach Jauron and his staff.
