QB Edwards Misses Practice After Knocking Knees with Lynch

Bills starting QB Trent Edwards missed practice today as he has a swollen bruise above his right kneecap. The swelling took place after he knocked knees with starting RB Marshawn Lynch. “Honestly, right now, I’m just kind of taking it on a day-by-day basis,” Edwards said. “Sunday’s still a long way away.” Edwards and the team have both said that other than the swelling there is nothing structurally wrong with his leg or knee. As for Lynch, he is okay and was on the field today for the teams final summer training camp practice session. Coach Dick Jauron said that the quarterback’s return will depend on how quickly the swelling and pain subside.
