BuffaloBills.com is reporting that center Melvin Fowler underwent off-season shoulder surgery. “I had my clavicle cleaned up about six weeks ago,” Fowler said. The site says that he’s expected to be ready to go for training camp.  The former 3rd round draft pick of the Browns back in 2002 started 16 games last season and enters his 7th year in 2008.
