Eye Surgery Sidelines Lynch; No Comment on Hit and Run

Bills RB Marshawn Lynch, a matter of great debate as of late, missed OTA today as he is recovering from eye surgery.  It was the second straight time he’s missed practice, but he is expected to be cleared to return to practice by Wednesday, when the team starts a mandatory three-day camp.  Lynch has not spoken about hit-and-run accident involving his vehicle, and if he was involved in it or not.  He has been named the principal suspect in the case that took case back on May 31st.

Lynch’s lawyer, Mike Caffery, is scheduled to meet with Erie County District Attorney Frank Clark today to discuss the case.  Clark stated last week that Lynch was the driver when his SUV struck a women crossing an intersection near Buffalo’s downtown bar area.  The victim, identified as a 27-year-old woman from suburban Toronto, had a bruised hip and a cut that required seven stitches. She was treated and released from a hospital on the same day.

The league has not spoken much about the situation either, and if Lynch is going to recieve any sort of punishment for this incident.  Right now it looks more like it’s in the hands of the justice system.
