Bills Keep Dolphins Winless with 38-17

Trent Edwards threw for 165 yards and four touchdowns as the Bills kept the Dolphins winless with a 38-17 triumph at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Fred Jackson had 15 carries for 115 yards for Buffalo, which moved to 7-and-6 on the season. Marshawn Lynch scampered for 107 yards, and Lee Evans and Robert Royal each caught a pair of TD passes in the victory. Samkon Gado ran in for two scores for the Dolphins, who became the first team since the 1986 Indianapolis Colts to start a season 0-and-13. John Beck started at quarterback for Miami, but was benched after the first three series yielded no first downs and a fumble that was returned for a touchdown. Cleo Lemon passed for 241 yards with two picks and a fumble in place of Beck.
