No Word on Who Will Start This Week at QB for Bills
Posted by Matt Loede on November 6th, 2007 filed in NewsIt’s going to be a wait and see approach this week when it comes to who will play quarterback this week for the Bills when they head to Miami to play the winless Dolphins. Head coach Dick Jauron said Monday that the team would like to make a decision by Wednesday as to who is going to be under center between J.P. Losman and Trent Edwards.
Losman was on fire last Sunday against the Bengals, as he went 24-for-34 with 295 yards in the teams victory at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The decision on if it will be Edwards or Losman seems to be coming down to the improvement on Edwards’ right wrist sprain, and if it’s going to allow him to practice much this week leading to the game.
Jauron did say he liked what he saw out of Losman on Sunday. “He played well. There are always plays every quarterback would like to have back, but he played well. He threw some tremendous balls, and he threw them with authority. He moved it around. Josh [Reed] had a number of catches and had a tremendous game. Lee [Evans] and Marshawn [Lynch], to have games like that on the same day, that was fun to watch.”
