Two Days Later; It Feels No Better

Robert Royal sits on the bench after a one-point loss to the Dallas Cowboys

On a night that saw a masterful defensive performance, that is until the end of the game. The Bills did all they could at surviving. It wasn’t enough however as the Bills lost another heartbreaker as time expired 25-24 on a 53 yard field goal by rookie Nick Folk.

Outside of Terrence Magee dropping a would be 6th interception for Tony Romo with a little over 2 minutes remaining. Or the odd field goal attempt with less than a minute in the second quarter which allowed Dallas to end the first half with a field goal that cut the Bills lead to 17-10.

Those 2 plays probably won’t show up in the box score but to the biggest football fan in New York; the way Brian Moorman was punting the ball last night Buffalo got to big for their britches and it backfired in their face.

Dallas gave Buffalo a dose of their own medicine by recovering an onsides kick which led to the dramatic double field goal game winner.

The morning after all of the aftermath of this painful defeat, the Bills are now tied for 2nd in the pitiful AFC East with the New Jersey Jets at 1-4.

One thing that can be said about Dallas is that their defense is good! They shut down Buffalo’s offense and if not for a great defensive effort that kept the Bills in the game. All they needed to do was get one extra first down.

The Dallas D did enough and gave Tony Romo enough opportunities where the Cowboys where given the chance to pull one out and they did.
