Bills Cut Long Snapper Mike Schneck

Mike Schneck

The Buffalo Bills didn’t need a change at long snapper, but they made one anyway. After two seasons, including a Pro Bowl year in 2005, the Bills cut Mike Schneck in favor of Ryan Neill.

Neill, a defensive end who made the practice squad as a rookie last season, did some long snapping at Rutgers. But his first chance to do it in a real NFL game will be on Sunday when the Bills host Denver in the season opener.

That’s worked out well, hasn’t it? In the Browns and Giants games, they lost 14 points because of this dumb move.
