The Bills are set to show off some new aspects of their offense tonight as they play host to the Atlanta Falcons at Ralph Wilson Stadium. One new look will come in the backfield, where number one draft choice Marshawn Lynch will get the start. Last week he sat the bench as veteran Anthony Thomas got the start over the Cal rookie. Lynch played just seven plays against the Saints and finished with three yards. “It’s going to be my first home game, and I’m real excited about that,” Lynch said. “I got some action last week, and this week I’m looking to get a little more.”

The QB rotation for tonight will be as follows - J.P. Losman, who will play about a quarter, followed by Craig Nall and rookie Trent Edwards. Last week Edwards played the whole second half, while Nall played one series, which went 14 plays. “Trent will probably get more [time] just because he’s so new to the league and the game,” coach Dick Jauron said. “But we’ll see a little more of Craig, too. It depends on how the game goes.” It will be interesting to see how the Falcons come out, considering that today will be the day that franchise QB likely will take a plea deal on dogfighting charges that will land him in prison for 12 to 18 months.
